To run or not to run … In the snow
That was my choice this morning. A balmy 25 degrees made for a perfect morning. But there was still fresh snow on the ground, and even where the sidewalks had been cleared, it was only a small path.
I could have stayed in and run the treadmill. But that’s not the same as outside in the [...]
95 days til the Flying Pig Marathon
Yup, I’m still running and training for the May 2nd Flying Pig Marathon here in Cincinnati. The training for my first marathon is on target, despite the bitter cold and snow we’ve had this month. I’ve discovered I love to run in the cold. I don’t mind running in the snow, so long as it’s apparent that [...]
A new ChipCast for 2010
A new year, a new blog. Or at least a new focus for this blog I started last year. Photo finish
These photo thumbnails were sent to me by e-mail by the photographers of the Hyde Park Blast, in hopes I would buy reprints. This race was only 4 miles long, but still I look totally gassed. I’ll pass on ordering race photos until I start looking more gallant at the finish line.
